The Lapp family has been in the meat business for over 70 years. During the difficult depression years, Henry Lapp decided that he needed to supplement his farm income by selling fresh meat and produce at a local farmers market. He went by horse and wagon to deliver meat both on the Welsh Mountain and to the Coatesville, Pennsylvania area.
